El Palomar del Abuelo

Casa El Palomar de Abuelo was founded on July 1, 2016 as a result of a shared dream between a father and his daughters. It is a newly constructed building that embodies all the knowledge acquired during a lifetime dedicated to work, including masonry, plumbing, heating, electricity, and more. Everything bears the stamp of its owner.

The house offers 4 double rooms and 4 single rooms, 4 bathrooms, and 1 toilet. It also has a living room, kitchen, and dining room with access to a large terrace and a spacious garden with a gazebo and barbecue.

The name brings together two of the owner's great passions: "El Palomar" because pigeon breeding has always been his hobby and "del Abuelo" because being a grandfather is currently his greatest passion.

The house has been personally taken care of down to the smallest detail, combining design and comfort to create a warm and cozy home where the only things missing are time and noise.

Located in a privileged place with views of the village and the mountains, it is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the nature that surrounds us. We are within the Biosphere Reserve of La Rioja and we are a Starlight tourist destination, the first Starlight Park in Spain. Thanks to the cleanliness and brightness of our night sky, you can "lose yourself" in an immense sea of stars, a spectacle of unique beauty that is hard to forget.

Our village is located 46 km from Logroño, 55 km from Soria, and only 9 km from the Sierra de Cebollera natural park. Its cobbled streets, typical houses made of stone and wood, facades decorated with flowers in the summer, smoke from chimneys in the winter, colors and smells of the mountains in the spring and autumn, and the tranquility that is experienced in this beautiful corner of the mountains make Laguna a charming village.
